WHAT IS AN ESIM?

The term "eSIM" simply means an embedded SIM card. No physical SIM cards are involved; you don't need to swap. An eSIM is a small chip inside your phone that works similarly to the NFC chip used for payment techs like apple pay and google pay.

WHAT SERVICES CAN BE USED WITH RAPIDeSIM?

Two versions of this product are available: one is data-only, while the other supports both voice and data services. The data-only version permits you to use data exclusively, whereas the other version allows you to make or receive calls, send or receive SMS messages, and use data.

HOW TO BUY DATA PLANS FOR RAPIDeSIM?

Our company offers an extensive selection of prepaid data plans that are tailor-made to meet the unique needs of our customers. We provide data or voice plans that are specific to the country you will be visiting and your data usage requirements. Depending on your particular needs, you can purchase either a data or voice plan from us.

HOW TO ACTIVATE THE ESIM?

To activate your eSim after purchasing RapideSIM, you will receive a QR code via email. You need to scan the QR code using your phone's camera to install the RapideSIM onto your device. Once the installation is complete, your eSim should be activated and ready to use. Please get in touch with our 24/7 customer care in case of any issues during or after installation. 

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DELETE OR REMOVE ESIM ONCE INSTALLED ON YOUR PHONE SINCE THE ESIM CAN ONLY BE SCANNED ONCE AND IN NO CASE BE RE-SCANNED.

Unlimited Roaming Data

Our Unlimited Data Plans are intended for travelers who need reliable access to their apps and communications while roaming. They are not intended for high frequency or intense data usage, automated or machine usage, or large file transfers.

Examples of Regular Roaming Usage

✅  Using social media apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok - OK! 

✅  Browsing the internet, email, and messaging throughout the day - OK!

✅  Using Mobile Hotspot for your laptop or tablet to join Zoom calls - OK! 

✅  Connecting to your corporate VPN for regular business usage - OK! 

 

Examples of Usage That May Be Limited

❌  Downloading huge files from a server - Better to use Wi-Fi.

  Uploading/downloading an entire library of photos or music  - Better to use Wi-Fi.

❌  Using the Mobile Hotspot as a router or proxy for multiple computers - Better to use Wi-Fi.

❌  Connecting to a TV and streaming video 12 hours a day - Better to use Wi-Fi.

❌  Using the connection for BitTorrent or P2P file sharing uploads - Better to use Wi-Fi.

Network Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) lays out the standards of acceptable Internet usage while connected to our network, and prohibits activities such as sending SPAM, posting offensive or illegal content, and interfering with other computer networks. 

 

WHAT NUMBER WILL BE MY MOBILE NUMBER? AND CAN I USE MY EXISTING MOBILE NUMBER?


No, your existing number will be operational, you can make calls and Incoming calls can be received.

WHAT IS THE VALIDITY OF THE PLAN?

HOW DO I TOP UP MY PLAN?

We provide recharge options directly on our website for your convenience. DO YOU KNOW IF I CAN USE THE SAME RapideSIM IN DIFFERENT DEVICES?

Once you have installed your RapideSIM on a device, it will be activated and ready to use. We recommend that you choose the device you wish to use the RapideSIM carefully, as it cannot be transferred to another device once it is installed. This ensures that you have a secure and reliable connection on your chosen device throughout your travels.

IS THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 COMPATIBLE WITH ESIM? 

No, Samsung Galaxy S10 does not support an eSIM.
 

DOES THE IPHONE 10 SUPPORT ESIM?

No, the iPhone 10 does not support an eSIM. The first apple phone to support an eSIM starts from iPhone XS and iPhone XR. All the previous models are not supported with eSIM.

IS THE HUAWAI P40 PRO+ COMPATIBLE WITH ESIM?


No, only the P40 and P40 Pro models are compatible.

WHAT IS THE FAIR USAGE POLICY FOR UNLIMITED PLANS?

Our eSIM plan provides unlimited data throughout the agreed-upon duration. However, the network provider may exercise their prerogative to implement a Fair Usage Policy to ensure optimal network performance for all users.

 

DO I NEED TO SUBMIT ANY DOCUMENTATION?

No, however, at RapideSIM, we take the security of our customers seriously. To protect our customers from fraudulent activities and maintain a safe shopping environment, we may request additional identity verification for transactions flagged by our payment gateway as suspicious or potentially fraudulent.
