How to install your eSIM on Samsung & Android

One-tap install — no QR code
Fastest- 1Open your RapideSIM confirmation email in Gmail or Chrome on your phone.
- 2Tap the quick-install link.
- 3Android opens Add eSIM with everything pre-filled — confirm the download.
- 4Done: your eSIM appears in the SIM manager.
Requires Android 10+ with up-to-date Google services and SIM manager. Open the link from Chrome, Gmail or SMS — it won't trigger from WhatsApp.

Scan the QR code
- 1Go to Settings › Connections › SIM Manager.
- 2Tap Add eSIM.
- 3Scan the QR code from your email (use another screen, or print it).
- 4Add the eSIM and give it a name (for example “RapideSIM”).

Manual installation
No camera needed- 1Go to Settings › Connections › SIM Manager › Add eSIM.
- 2Choose Enter activation code.
- 3Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your email.
- 4Confirm and name your eSIM.
At your destination — switch it on
- Go to Settings › Connections › SIM Manager and set RapideSIM as your mobile-data SIM.
- Under Settings › Connections › Mobile networks, enable Data Roaming for the RapideSIM line — required.
- Disable data roaming on your personal line to avoid home-carrier charges.
- Your main SIM stays active for calls, SMS and WhatsApp.
Don't delete your eSIM. A deleted eSIM can only be reinstalled on the same device from the original QR code — and once activated, it can't be moved to another phone. Unsure? Contact support first.
Good to know
- Install at home: validity only starts when your eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.
- You have up to 180 days after purchase to activate your plan.
- No connection? Add the APN from your email under Settings › Connections › Mobile networks › Access Point Names.
