⚡ 2 minutes📷 No QR needed (iOS 17.4+)🌍 Do it before you fly
1
Quick Install — no QR code
Recommended- 1Open your RapideSIM confirmation email on your iPhone.
- 2Tap the Quick Install link.
- 3iOS opens the eSIM installer with everything pre-filled — tap Continue and follow the prompts.
- 4That's it: your eSIM now appears under Settings › Cellular.
Works on iOS 17.4 and newer. On older iOS versions, use the QR code method below.
2
Scan the QR code
- 1Open your confirmation email on another screen (or print the QR code).
- 2On your iPhone, go to Settings › Cellular › Add eSIM.
- 3Tap Use QR Code and scan it with the camera.
- 4Name your new line (for example “RapideSIM”) and confirm.
3
Manual installation
No camera needed- 1Go to Settings › Cellular › Add eSIM › Use QR Code and tap Enter Details Manually.
- 2Copy the SM-DP+ Address from your email and paste it.
- 3Paste the Activation Code (same email).
- 4Confirm and name your eSIM.
At your destination — switch it on
- Go to Settings › Cellular › Cellular Data and select your RapideSIM line.
- Tap the RapideSIM line and enable Data Roaming — required for the eSIM to work.
- Turn data roaming off on your personal line to avoid charges from your home carrier.
- Your main SIM stays active for calls, SMS and WhatsApp.
Don't delete your eSIM. A deleted eSIM can only be reinstalled on the same device from the original QR code — and once activated, it can't be transferred to another phone. Unsure? Contact support first.
Good to know
- Install at home, stress-free: validity only starts when your eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.
- You have up to 180 days after purchase to activate your plan.
- No connection after setup? Check the APN value from your email under Settings › Cellular › your eSIM › Cellular Data Network.
